Snack time!

Exercise snacks are brief spurts of movement shown to help build muscle and improve your metabolic health.

This is especially important if you're a cancer patient - past or present.

I like doing squats. You can hold on to a chair if you need more stability. Squats help build muscles, improve balance, and keep bones strong.

Don't forget to move throughout the day...especially if you tend to sit a lot. Just 1-5 minutes at a time every hour or so makes a difference!

*Disclaimer - always speak with your doctor before beginning any exercise program. 🙏🏼

Coming up on 1 year since my 2022 breast cancer diagnosis....

It's been a journey! Ups and downs for sure...🎢

Friends, family and prayer got me through treatment. 💗

Thankful to be on this side of things and ready for what's next. 💪🏻

I'll be sharing posts on all the things I've learned about how to best support your body through breast cancer treatment.

And how to reduce reoccurence.

Stay tuned!

While many studies look at temporary boosts to the immune system immediately after exercise, this study, published in the journal AJP-Cell, found these changes occurred even a week later, suggesting that the changes were long term.
