Who doesn’t love cookies? I know I do but I don’t love the carb-overload and sugar crash that comes with them. Enter my Christmas Cookie Smoothie….
It tastes like a sugar cookie and is actually really good for you, but shhhhh…..don’t tell them. They’ll just think you’re awesome and amazing for making it.
Don’t forget to make a smoothie for yourself, too.
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 banana, frozen (if your banana’s not frozen, add 2 more ice cubes)
- 1 Tbsp old-fashioned oats (uncooked)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 3 drops vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp protein powder (if using unsweetened pea protein like me, add 6 drops Sweet Leaf stevia drops)
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of sea salt
- small handful of greens (kale, spinach, etc. – you won’t taste it, promise!)
- 6 ice cubes
Blend well and enjoy!
